Fall Season II

Fall has arrived in the Sacramento County. Fall means warm drinks, sweater weather, boots, pumpkin everything and apple picking. We are lucky thatApple Hillis only a short drive from Sacramento.

If you are new to Sacramento and would like to pick your own fruit, we have an area near by that has over 100 growers. Some of those are also vineyards/wineries. Happy happy! If you visit their website, you can download their app where you can see all the farms in Apple Hill that are participating.

When my family goes, we make it a day event. We have a picnic in some of farms that allow it, pick our fruit, enjoy the scenery and buy some yummy baked goods.

Some farms will allow you to bring your dog too. The whole family can then enjoy freshly picked apples and pears, buy some homemade crafts, eat an apple cider donut and enjoy the fall scenery. Make it a family tradition!

A bientot!
